Hitler and Communism Term Papers
The name of Adolph Hitler is usually associated with loss and careless dictatorial regime, it can be conjectured that without Hitler, Europe was in serious danger of the spread of communism. When Hitler’s wicked attempt at European domination was started, many of the European democratic nations were ready to support Hitler in order to prevent communism from permeating the West. It was the period when everybody believed that if Germany adopted communism, other European countries would inevitably follow. The power of Hitler was made definite by his glorious abandonment of the unfair Versailles Treaty and the launching of the navel program which let Germany occupy the Rhineland with almost no resistance. Due to Hitler’s oratory and negotiation skills the Munich Agreement was enacted in 1938. This agreement was an open attack at the stability of Great Britain and France. The German people supported Hitler because his powerful leadership and clear policies of land acquisition which included the dismantlement of the Czechoslovakian State appealed to them. On September 1st, blessed by the German people, Nazi armies occupied Poland, thus igniting the World War II. By this time, the plague of Russian communism took second seat to the threat posed by e Germans on the West. As soon as Hitler broke into Russia, he let it be known to everyone that Jews and Communists were of the same unbearable presence to him. If it were not for his attack on Russia, Europe may have been overtaken by communism. It was Hitler’s insanity that drove Russia into a state of long-lasting poverty and devastation from war.
