Jesus could not be considered a philosopher neither during his time of living nor nowadays. The true philosopher would not take for granted that he is the Son of God. Moreover, philosopher would examine own existence and calling from the different aspects. Like philosophers, Jesus raises such subjects as morale, relations, ethics and truth. Unlike the philosophers, Jesus thoughts are not exposed to discussion and analysis, while philosophers come to conclusions through analysis, logic or study. Such instruments as reasoning, experience, evidence, humanistic or rational approach of analysis are used by philosophers in order to prove the theory they develop. Jesus, on the other hand, bases his teachings and conclusions on his authority of the Son of God. Jesus teaching is a basis for Christianity. Jesus teachings could not be exposed to critics or reviewed from the point of view. They are like axiom. Philosopher’s teaching are discussed and exposed to critics. Moreover, Jesus’ teachings demand some rituals and special ceremonies and other aspects of religion. Philosophers’ teachings and conclusions on the other hand also influence other people mad their lives, but requires only the power of thought.
